WalkSpeak Terms of Service

Welcome to WalkSpeak!
These Terms govern your use of the WalkSpeak mobile application and related services provided by Old Pump Station LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”).

By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

WalkSpeak is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
You agree not to misuse the app, reverse engineer it, or use it to harm others.

You must be at least 13 years old to use WalkSpeak.

2. Accounts

If you create an account:

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information.

  • You must provide accurate information.

  • We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time.

3. User Content

If you share routes, achievements, or other content:

  • You grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content within the app.

  • You confirm you have rights to share it.

  • You agree not to post harmful, offensive, or illegal content.

We may remove content that violates these Terms.

4. Health & Safety Disclaimer

WalkSpeak is a motivational tool, not a medical or health application.

  • Consult a doctor before beginning a new fitness routine.

  • Use the app safely and remain aware of your surroundings while walking.

  • We are not responsible for injuries or incidents that occur while using the app.

5. In-App Purchases (If Applicable)

If WalkSpeak offers paid features:

  • Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not us.

  • All billing disputes must be handled through the corresponding app marketplace.

6. License and Restrictions

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use WalkSpeak.

You may not:

  • Modify or reverse engineer the app

  • Use the app in any way that violates laws

  • Attempt to access our backend systems without permission

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You violate these Terms

  • You misuse the service

  • We discontinue the app

You may also stop using the app at any time.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

WalkSpeak is provided “as is” and “as available” with no warranties or guarantees of uninterrupted service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (if any)

Use the app at your own risk.

10. Updates & Changes

We may update the app or these Terms at any time.
Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA.
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in North Carolina.
